Although there is no manufacturer recommendation for a ladder on your 2001 Hurricane motorhome I recommend going with the Stromberg Carlson RV Exterior Ladder # LA-401 over the 97" Long Surco Universal Exterior RV Ladder # SP501L or the 84-1/2" LongSurco Universal Exterior RV Ladder # SP502L.
The reason being that the Stromberg Carlson option is 99-1/2" long and can be cut to custom-fit your application. As long as you install it to a part of your trailer that is structurally solid you... view full answer...
There isn't a brake controller wiring harness for the 2004 Chevy Workhorse RV chassis. It is possible that the RV came with one. Sometimes they plug in under the driver's seat but would otherwise be located under the dash. It is also possible that it does not have a place to plug a brake controller into and could just have tow package wires under the dash. To check this look for a bundle of wires up under dash with a white tag on them.
If you cannot locate a wire bundle or place that a... view full answer...
I do not have an option rated that high for any coaches. The closest I can get you is the Curt Adjustable Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13701.
It is rated for 500 lbs. of Tongue Weight and 5,000 lbs. of Gross Trailer Weight.
You do need to check your Workhorse Owner's manual to see what it is rated for as a maximum as well and not exceed that. view full answer...
For your 2004 Workhorse W22 chassis there isn't a specific custom front mounted hitch receiver. Because of that, I recommend using the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs, 22" to 66" Wide # C13704 if you have the clearance under your frame for that not to disrupt. An adjustable hitch that is bolt on will be easier than a weld on option, but that is also a possibility. view full answer...
We have steering stabilizers that will fit your 2004 Workhorse P-32, but Blue Ox does not make a TruCenter for this vehicle.
Roadmaster has the part # RM-RSSCP30 for if you have an OEM dampener or part # RM-RBK3-RSSP30 for if your P32 does not have an OEM dampener.
The sturdy steel spring on this stabilizer keeps your vehicle in line by constantly working to maintain its position. view full answer...
I don't believe there is a brake controller port on a Holiday Rambler even if it comes with a factory trailer connector. The only way to utilize a brake controller would be to hardwire one in yourself for which I recommend using the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90195. This option would require running some wires from the front to the rear as well as from the battery to the cab. If you don't want to mess with that there's a wireless option, the Curt Echo Mobile Brake... view full answer...
The Lippert Kwikee 28 Series Electric Step # LC3747452 that you referenced is a great single step option that is extremely popular as an OEM application and does a great job.
This step has mounting bracket dimensions of 24-1/4" wide x 5-7/8" tall x 8-9/16" deep so if your current mounting dimensions match up to this then you are good to go! view full answer...
If it is a Workhorse chassis it would be either a P series or a W series. There are no options for a P34, P32 is as high as they go in terms of parts that will fit.
For a 2005 Workhorse P32 you would use # RM-RSSCP30.
For a W22 or W24 you would use # RM-RBK13-RSSA.
To know for sure which chassis it is you can inquire with the RV manufacturer using your VIN. view full answer...
I'm not entirely sure what you mean by simple but since you were looking at the # C27JR I recommend the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 2 Axles - Proportional # C51180. This also operates using the Curt Echo app on your phone. Instead of installing it inside your van, it plugs in-line with your 7-way. This makes for a simple plug in installation.
The app controls the braking power and also acts as the manual override. Since it can create up to 5 vehicle-trailer profiles... view full answer...
For front air bags that fit inside of the coil springs on your 2002 Workhorse P32 chassis you will need # AL81560. You can roll up these bags and insert them up from the bottom through the hole below the coil spring mounts that you have described. No need to remove the springs for installation!
I have included a helpful link to other stability products for your particular RV chassis as well. view full answer...
The Air Lift Kit part # AL81560 that you referenced is the correct air bag kit for the front springs of your 2000 Workhorse P30 chassis that your Itasca Sunrise is built on. You would need to remove what is there now and install these in place of them.
I wish we had the bushing you need, but at this time we do not have stock sway bar bushings for RVs like yours. view full answer...
For your tandem axle utility trailer, the 3,500 lb axles make it easy to add electric brakes. For 3,500 lb axles you will use 10 inch assemblies. My recommendation is the Electric Trailer Brake Kit - Self-Adjusting - 10" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 3,500 lbs # AKEBRK-35-SA for each axle. These assemblies will work well for your axles. If you don't already have the hub/drum assemblies, then I recommend using the Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly - 3.5K E-Z Lube Axles - 10" Diameter... view full answer...
It definitely is the case that any vehicle can have a brake controller installed in it. They are pretty universal in how they install but some vehicles have pre-wiring which makes it a bit easier to install them. So to install a brake controller like the Redarc Tow Pro Elite part # RED44FR you would need to first have a 4-way harness installed like the # 119190KIT. Then you would need to convert it to a 7-way with the kit part # ETBC7 which comes with the wiring needed to wire in the brake... view full answer...
The SuperSprings 5,200-lb SuperCoils Custom Suspension Coils # SSC-10 would be the correct set for your 2004 Winnebago that's built on the Workhorse P32 chassis but they are only designed to replace the factory coil springs. If your RV uses a factory air bag system I do not recommend replacing them with these springs. This would likely void any warranty on the RV and could lead to issues down the line since it was designed to work with air suspension at the front.

If you are needing to replace the factory coil springs at the front of your 2004 Workhorse P32 chassis then the higher-rated Super Springs SuperCoils # SSC-11 will work perfectly. These heavy-duty springs will maintain your RV's ride height but provide you with more load support to help reduce front-end sag and bottoming out on the road.
They feature a combined capacity of 7,200 pounds which is going to do a great job of stabilizing your ride and reducing a lot of potential wear on the... view full answer...
As long as your Workhorse is a widetrack then I would recommend the Roadmaster Front Suspension Bar # RM-1109-200 for your 2000 Itasca Sunrise with a P32 Workhorse Chassis. This anti-sway bar is going to minimize sway and the effects of trucks and wind on your Sunrise. It will improve the stability and driveability of your vehicle which will reduce driver fatigue.
We typically recommend installing one stabilization/sway piece at a time to see how the ride improves before adding more... view full answer...
For the front axle of your 2004 Workhorse P32 chassis the correct air bag kit is the Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs # AL81560. This includes both air springs and the hardware to install them. If you need just a single air bag by itself you can use part # AL81260. These springs provide a combined load-leveling capacity of 1,000 pounds and will do a great job of stabilizing your ride.
I attached an image a customer submitted of the air spring and you can even see on the top where the... view full answer...
Based on the year and serial number from the Kwikee Series 32 steps you have on your 1999 Winnebago Brave the correct solution you need is the Motor Upgrade Kit for Kwikee Electric RV Steps # LC379145 which comes with the new motor, new module, and correct gear box. view full answer...
For a 2004 Workhorse P32 chassis the correct SuperCoils fit is the part # SSC-10. This kit is designed to replace factory coils though and would not be a suitable replacement if your front suspension was an air bag setup. view full answer...
